COURSE DESCRIPTION: Trust plays a huge role in the ability to influence others. Without trust, a leader loses credibility and diminishes their potential to effectively influence their followers. People are simply more likely to obey the law when they believe those enforcing it have legitimate authority. This course looks at the importance of trust at both the individual level and the community level. We will examine behaviors that build or destroy trust, as well as strategies to strengthen and regain it.
*This training satisfies a requirement for the Supervision Certificate and an elective for the Senior Leadership Certificate
